Active Directory One can also be used by users without administrative rights through the Delegated Users command. With the delegation procedure, the administrator can allow the delegated user to work with the software in Active Directory only inside a planned scope, in an organizational group or unit. The delegated user in that context will impersonate with administrative rights using a set of credentials specific for that purpose. The software will prevent any write operations in AD outside the intended scope. Delegation may be permanent or may expire after a programmable period.
